On To Newfoundland!

Published by Michael Ladden at 6:02 am under Expedition Updates, Field Reports

We have completed our trek across Labrador. Today we board the ferry for Newfoundland. We will spend a few days exploring L Anse aux meadows- a Viking site on the North coast and then a week in Gros Morne National park- a world heritage site.

The past few days we toured the scenic coast of Labrador. The highlight was seeing several icebergs of the coast and visiting an archeological dig site of ancient Inuit homes.

The road continued to be challenging but all vehicles are performing well and the crew is ready to shed the persistent bugs of Labrador!

Thanks for checking in and providing the update. Sounds great. Looking forward to all the photos and stories. We’ve enjoyed tracking you on Spot. Only wish is that we could see some legacy data back to the start. Enjoy the rest of your journey. We are off to the beach on our little island down here in New Jersey. It’s the reason I’m not currently in your rear view mirror today.

    Hi Guys,
It’s nice to see you all made it across Labrador without any more problems. The roads are not as bad as everyone makes them out to be Ha! Ha!..
Hope the rest of your trip is enjoyable without to many “unexpected adventures”.
We are still keeping a eye on you with spot.
Have fun Eugene and Connie Joy
