The past few days we toured the scenic coast of Labrador. [...]

Aboard The Goose Bay to Cartwright Labrador Ferry

Hello from Labrador! Doing what we do best! Enjoying some frosty beverages and updating this blog from the Sir Robert Bond marine vessel on the way to Cartwright Labrador (overnight ferry). Modern technology is amazing- internet in the middle of no where.  We had to prove that we were indeed alive and well after the [...]

Update From Labrador

We have reached Churchill Falls Labrador, halfway along the dirt Labrador highway between Labrador City and Goose Bay. Due to a significant vehicle problem (a long story to be published later) we are lacking sleep, food and some of our wits but we are only a half day behind schedule.

Drive The Globe visited the old city of Quebec today on its way toward Labrador and points beyond. We enjoyed the last day of civilization including cell coverage, internet and upscale restaurants. Tomorrow we head toward Labrador.
Look for photos and trip reports when we return.

Desert Crossing - Trans Africa Expedition 2001

NEW VIDEO FROM THE ARCHIVES:
In the Spring of 2001, DRIVE THE GLOBE | Overland Adventures completed Stage I of its Trans-Africa Expedition.
This video features highlights of the Sahara crossing, made between Nouadhibou and Nouakchott Mauritania, a vast, desolate desert expanse where the only road is the wind swept sand dunes and hard rock strewn piste.
This [...]
